- Amy Farrah Fowler – The Big Bang Theory
Amy Farrah Fowler is one of my all-time favorite girl geeks because she’s just so damn smart, witty, and up for nearly anything at least once. Her dedication and true admiration for her beloved boyfriend that barely shows her any physical affection is love at its purest form. Plus, I love a girl that loves Science and Star Trek.
- Tina Belcher – Bob’s Burgers
Tina Belcher is also a nerdy girl that stole my heart. I can identify with her on so many levels and like that shirts and mugs out there on the interwebs, I feel as if Tina Belcher is my spirit animal. She loves writing, a boy that would rather dance alone than with her, and she has a thing for butts. I mean who doesn’t love a nice a butt?
- Sue Heck – The Middle
Sue Heck is the definition of inspirational and living your life to the fullest. She doesn’t care at how painfully awkward she is and how long her “ugly stage” is going to last. Sue is happy and innocent and we could all live a better life if we could just see the world through her eyes. You keep doing you Sue!
- Jessica Day – New Girl
Jess is the quirky one of this group. She’s pretty but approachable. She’s awkward but in a cute way. She is just geeky enough to squeak into the “nerdy girl” label but ultimately we all know that if she wore contacts and slapped on some high heels she’d be just another pretty girl that likes funny hipster things. It’s okay though because deep down she might just be one of us.
- Princess Bubblegum – Adventure Time
Now if you don’t know who Princess Bubblegum is, you need to please check yourself before you wreck yourself. I love Princess Bubblegum because she’s a science nerd, she’s funny, straight forward, and knows what she wants. Also, I really dig the fact that there is an underlying lesbian vibe with her and Marceline.
Please keep in mind that these Girl Geek TV Characters are current because if we were to go over Nerdy Girls of all time on tv the list would be much different and we’ll save that for another day.
Who is your favorite geeky girl on tv??
